Diesel TMS is a cloud-based transportation management system for trucking companies, carriers, freight brokers, and dispatch operations. It brings load management, dispatching, quoting, rate confirmations, invoicing, accounting, driver management, equipment maintenance, customer and carrier portals, electronic signatures, and API access into one service. A driver mobile app supports field workflows, while the web platform and iOS access cover office and mobile use. It is aimed at small teams that need broad basic TMS coverage without committing to a fixed enterprise-style package.
The plan structure is a notable part of the product. TMS Unlimited provides unlimited users, loads, customers, carriers, drivers, and trucks, along with the core dispatch, accounting, portal, API, and driver-app features. It is ad-supported, but includes phone, email, chat, training, and onboarding. TMS Flex keeps the standard feature set without ads, adds a dedicated account representative, and accrues usage only while users are logged in. TMS Pro also removes ads and adds a dedicated account representative, with a fixed monthly cost per active user. This gives small operations multiple ways to match usage and staffing patterns to their budget.
Diesel TMS also connects with QuickBooks Online, 123Loadboard, MyCarrierPortal, and factoring services. AI email/file-to-quote can reduce manual entry in quoting workflows, while API access and electronic signatures extend the system beyond its core screens. The trade-off is scope: teams that require verified settlements, compliance-management workflows, or ELD connectivity should choose a TMS built around those needs. Diesel TMS fits carriers, brokers, and dispatch operations prioritizing affordable coverage across everyday freight administration, especially when mobile driver access and basic equipment management matter.
