DeoMail is a hosted private email service for individuals, startups, teams, businesses, and developers using customer-owned domains. It combines webmail, email forwarding, custom-domain hosting, a REST API, automation, and team mailbox permissions. Privacy features include zero-access encryption, revocable and expiring messages, tamper-evident verification with fingerprints, and TOTP-based two-factor authentication. The service is available through the web and API, with IMAP support.

The free plan provides one mailbox, one custom domain, 500 MB of storage, unlimited incoming email, 100 outgoing emails per day, and API access. Instead of conventional paid tiers, DeoMail adds resources separately: extra inbox and attachment storage, additional domains, extra mailbox environments, and more daily automation capacity. AI processing is available through managed Anthropic Claude with automatic credit recharge and per-email credit decrement, or through a bring-your-own-key option for OpenAI or Anthropic with a platform fee per 1,000 emails. This structure suits buyers who want to expand specific capabilities without adopting a standard per-user tier model.

DeoMail’s strongest differentiator is the combination of private email controls and workflow connectivity. Rule-based automation can work with webhooks and integrations including Slack, Discord, Telegram, Google Sheets, Twilio, Zapier, n8n, and Make. The API supports sending, reading, and managing email, while shareable thread links and AI assistance extend the inbox beyond basic message storage. Choose DeoMail if custom-domain privacy, automation, developer access, and flexible resource add-ons matter most. It is less suitable for teams that need high included storage, a larger sending allowance in the free plan, or a conventional package with bundled mailbox resources.

DeoMail pros and cons

    • Free plan includes a custom domain, API access, and zero-access email
    • Webhooks and integrations support workflow automation across multiple services
    • AI inbox tools cover classification, summaries, and draft creation
  • Where it doesn't
    • Free plan limits sending to 100 outgoing emails per day
    • Free storage is limited to 500 MB
    • Additional resources require separate add-ons rather than standard paid tiers
