Decode by Entropik is a cloud-based human insights and user-research platform for research, product, UX and marketing teams. Its User Research module supports open, closed and hybrid card sorts, with participant-created or predefined categories, configurable cards, randomized ordering and study controls. Results include card and category agreement percentages plus an agreement matrix that maps relationships between cards and categories. The wider platform adds surveys, prototype and website testing, interviews, reporting, AI research tools, and emotion and eye-gaze analytics.

The Free plan provides 100 responses each month, one researcher seat and up to three studies. It includes surveys and user research, AI moderated interviews and BYOP support. Enterprise includes all Decode modules, multi-team and multi-workspace support, enterprise integrations and APIs, SSO, SCIM, governance and audit controls, data residency options, and dedicated onboarding and customer success. Enterprise use is sold through contact sales. Integrations span Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom, Google Meet, Slack, Google Drive, Figma and research audience providers including Cint, Dynata, Respondent, Prolific, User Interviews, Norstat and Toluna. Web and API access support connected research workflows.

Decode’s card-sorting depth suits teams that need more than a basic drag-and-drop study. Researchers can use card images, hidden titles, randomized card and category order, category card limits, self-recruit links and integrated panels, then analyze agreement patterns in detail. AI moderated interviews and the research copilot extend the same workspace into qualitative work. The trade-off is scope: teams seeking a narrowly focused card-sort tool may find the broader research suite unnecessary. Decode Live is browser-based and currently does not support mobile or tablet web, so participant workflows should be planned around supported devices.
