DAT One is a freight-matching and load-board platform for motor carriers, owner-operators, freight brokers, 3PLs and shippers. It supports searching and posting loads or trucks, searching for carriers, comparing lane and market rates, reviewing company information, receiving load-match alerts, planning routes and booking freight. Access is available through the web, iOS and Android apps, giving transportation teams a shared load-board workflow across office and mobile settings.
The plan structure covers distinct carrier, broker and organizational needs. DAT One Standard includes load searching and truck posting, the mobile app, match alarms, broker credit data and load counts by state. Enhanced adds 15-day lane rate averages and multiple searches with filtering, while Pro includes 7-day lane rate averages, TriHaul routing suggestions and preferred or blocked companies. Select adds the Market Conditions Index, contract rates and DAT Assurance. Office includes contract rates, CarrierWatch and group postings. Broker-focused plans add carrier search, demand and capacity maps, real-time results, insurance certificates, spot and contract rate comparison and LaneMakers.
DAT One stands out for combining marketplace activity with business intelligence. Broker credit scores, reviews and days-to-pay data help inform counterparty decisions, while CarrierWatch and insurance certificates support carrier monitoring. Book Now freight booking, interactive trucking maps and route planning extend the workflow beyond basic load discovery. TMS and FTP integrations can connect the service with existing transportation systems. Teams that need broad search, posting, rate context and broker or carrier research should find the feature coverage aligned with daily freight operations. Smaller users seeking a narrowly focused load board may find the many plan-specific capabilities harder to evaluate, particularly when they need advanced tools available only in selected tiers.
