Damisoft Amiga Emulator is a free emulator for running Amiga games and Workbench in a browser, from an offline package, or through an embedded deployment on a personal website. It suits users who want straightforward browser access, custom hosting, or control over the emulated Amiga configuration. Supported host platforms include web browsers, Windows, Linux and macOS. Users provide a Kickstart ROM, then load Amiga software through supported disk-image and media options.
Its strongest area is configuration depth for a browser-oriented emulator. Damisoft supports Amiga 500, Amiga 2000, Amiga 3000 and Amiga 4000/030 configurations, along with OCS, ECS and AGA graphics systems. Users can configure CPU settings, floppy drives, hard-disk and PCMCIA media, audio and video options, and keyboard, mouse and gamepad input. The emulator accepts ADF, DMS, IMG, EXE, SCP, HDF and VHD formats, and can load up to four floppy images in DF0–DF3. This gives users room to match different software and system setups rather than relying on one fixed profile.
Deployment flexibility is the other clear advantage. The browser version lowers the barrier to accessing Amiga software, while offline packages support Windows, Linux and macOS. Own-website deployment adds a practical option for personal collections or project pages. The main trade-off is that the user must supply a Kickstart ROM, and the emulator is not positioned around save-state or netplay features. Choose Damisoft for configurable local or hosted Amiga emulation with multiple media and input choices. Users who prioritize built-in ROMs, documented save states, or multiplayer networking should consider a different emulator.
