Credas Right to Work review
A UK-focused verifier combining share codes, biometrics, audit evidence and API access.

Credas Right to Work provides remote digital right-to-work verification for UK employers, recruitment agencies and other organisations hiring workers in the UK. Checks can run through a web browser or mobile app, using British and Irish passport capture, share-code workflows, biometric NFC chip reading, liveness verification and facial recognition. Results and evidence are available through the Credas Portal or API, giving organisations a choice between portal-based processing and technical integration.
Its main strength is the depth of the verification workflow. Credas combines identity-document checks with liveness, facial recognition and integrated anti-fraud checks, then supports a downloadable process PDF and audit evidence. The service also integrates with the UK Home Office online-checking system. Credas states that it is certified against the UK Government Digital Identity and Attributes Trust Framework. These capabilities suit employers and recruiters that need a documented digital process rather than a basic document-upload tool.
The published packages use different billing and access models. Gateway includes Credas Portal access, the full range of searches and checks, free training and support, charging on invite, five users, and a single branch or brand. Entry keeps portal access and the full range of checks, charges on completion, allows unlimited users, and adds automated invite reminders. Pro/Enterprise adds portal or API access, unlimited users, a sandbox test environment and project management, while Partners adds white-label or API integration, custom branding, a dedicated environment and project management. Pricing is contact-sales, and there is no free plan. Credas Right to Work is a strong fit for UK-focused hiring operations that value biometric checks, evidence and integration; organisations needing a broader international workflow should consider a different product.
