Our verdict on Creature Art Teacher
Creature Art Teacher is an online art-learning platform for learners studying animation, drawing, painting, character design, animal drawing, storytelling, and storyboarding. Its lesson-based courses combine step-by-step instruction with demonstrations, while free previews and courses provide an entry point before membership. The platform suits mobile learners who want structured study alongside scheduled virtual or in-person workshops, live streams, and instructor feedback through Studio Sessions.
Pricing offers three paid paths. The Streaming Membership Plan costs $14.99 per month and includes streaming access to the majority of courses and lessons, more than 850 hours of video lessons, subscriber-only live events and newsletters, and offline access through the iOS app. The Annual Premium Membership costs $249 per year and adds access to courses, brushes, lessons, tips and tricks, streaming and downloads, single-day online workshops, early access to new courses and videos, live events, and newsletters. The Lifetime Premium Membership costs $799 as a one-time payment and includes lifetime access to courses, brushes, and lessons, downloads, single-day live online workshops, past live workshop events, and no renewal requirement.
Its breadth is a major draw: learners can move between animation, visual development, storytelling, and traditional drawing topics rather than committing to one narrow discipline. Web, iOS, and Android apps support flexible access, with resume playback, picture-in-picture, dark mode, and offline lesson viewing among the app features. The main trade-off is cost at the upper tiers, particularly for learners who only need occasional instruction. Choose Creature Art Teacher for a broad course library with live teaching and critique; choose another option if you want a lower-cost specialist course or only occasional standalone lessons.
