Our verdict on Craft.io

Craft.io is a product management platform for teams taking product work from strategy through execution. Product managers can organize products, epics, features, stories, and backlogs; plan releases with multiple roadmap views; prioritize work; manage requirements; collect customer feedback; and coordinate OKRs, capacity, and portfolio planning. It is suited to teams that need more than a release calendar, particularly those connecting product decisions with development work and stakeholder communication.

The plan structure centers on workspace and collaboration scale. Starter costs $24 per user per month when billed monthly or $19 per user per month when billed annually, and includes one workspace, Craft roadmaps, backlog management and prioritization, backlog import, and two-way development-tool integration. Pro costs $99 per user per month monthly or $79 annually, adding unlimited workspaces, development-tool integrations, custom fields, and prioritization frameworks, along with dependency management and LiveShare. Enterprise adds product portfolio management, on-premise Jira and Azure DevOps integrations, multi-level OKRs, portfolio roadmaps, initiative planning, and an enterprise support SLA. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.

Craft.io’s strongest fit is its breadth across release planning and product operations. Timeline, Kanban, swimlane, table, and strategic roadmaps give teams different ways to present plans, while configurable scoring fields and prioritization frameworks support structured decisions. Feedback portals, feedback tables, capacity planning, public APIs, AI-powered product management capabilities, and integrations with tools such as Salesforce, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Figma, Miro, and Mural extend the workflow beyond engineering. Choose it when product strategy, feedback, prioritization, and delivery need one connected system. Teams seeking a free release-management tool or a narrowly focused release calendar should look elsewhere.
