ContactOffice is a hosted collaboration service for individuals, associations, organizations, and companies that need shared document storage alongside editing, synchronization, email, calendars, contacts, and groups. Teams can store common file types, share documents with per-item access rights, collaborate with real-time updates, and reach files through the web or a virtual WebDAV drive. Access is available on web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
Pricing is structured around four plans. The Free plan includes 250 MB of document storage, supports up to two group members, and has no time limit. Light costs €5 per user per month and includes 9 GB of storage, up to five group members, and a WebDAV virtual drive. Regular costs €10 per user per month with 20 GB and up to 10 group members, while Advanced costs €20 per user per month with 50 GB and up to 20 group members. The published group pricing uses prepaid subscription periods of six months for Light and three months for Regular and Advanced. Individual, customized, and education versions are also available.
Its strongest fit is teams that value storage access and ecosystem flexibility as much as document creation. WebDAV supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, while SMB/CIFS, IMAP, POP3, CalDAV, CardDAV, Microsoft Outlook, Dropbox, and Google Drive extend its connection options. Automatic backups several times a day, mobile synchronization, comments, notifications, PDF conversion, and public document access add practical coverage. Choose ContactOffice when shared files, permissions, protocols, and backups are central requirements. Teams seeking deeper document-authoring capabilities may prefer a more authoring-focused alternative.
