Component HR Portal is a configurable HR workspace for growing SMEs, multi-location employers, and people operations teams. It connects employee records, employment history, HR documents, acknowledgements, leave, requests, approvals, onboarding, offboarding, and workforce reporting. Employees can access profiles, documents, and policies, while managers and HR teams can review decisions, exceptions, document status, and lifecycle information. The product is suited to small HR teams that need broader employee records alongside knowledge-base-style policy and document workflows.

Pricing is presented through Component.app platform plans rather than as a separately priced HR product, and the published prices are not quoted per HR-portal user. Starter costs $20 per month with annual billing or $25 monthly, adding a custom domain, unlimited visitors, backend coding, and an email sender. Pro costs $40 annually billed per month or $50 monthly, with app user authentication, role-based access control, Stripe integration, and a custom email sender. Business costs $80 annually billed per month or $100 monthly and adds in-app AI features and 14-day backup retention. Team costs $160 annually billed per month or $200 monthly, adding custom third-party integrations available and domain-restricted signup. A 7-day free trial is available.

The workflow breadth is the main reason to consider it: configurable approval paths, policy rules, role-specific views, request aging, absence reporting, and lifecycle plans support more than a basic document repository. Connections are available to Stripe, Google, Slack, HubSpot, and QuickBooks, while custom third-party integrations are available on Team. That ecosystem may suit organisations already using those providers, but teams needing a wider integration catalogue, SSO, or analytics should assess alternatives. Choose Component HR Portal when configurable employee workflows and records matter; look elsewhere if web-only access or narrower platform compatibility is a constraint.
