Clover Online Ordering review
A Clover-centered ordering system with web, app, QR, pickup, delivery, and dine-in options.

Clover Online Ordering gives restaurants a Clover-powered web page and ordering through the Clover mobile app. It supports takeout, curbside pickup, delivery, and dine-in ordering, making it suited to restaurants that want customer ordering connected to their existing Clover operation. Menus, hours, business information, modifiers, and inventory controls can be managed through the Clover Dashboard, while orders route to Clover POS and the kitchen team.
Pricing is structured around a Clover setup rather than a standalone ordering subscription. Clover states that Online Ordering has no setup or subscription fees, while restaurant POS package pricing is handled through contact sales. A supported Clover POS device and connected printer are required. The service connects with Clover POS, DoorDash, Grubhub, and Order with Google, giving restaurants several ways to receive or support orders across their website, app, delivery workflow, and search presence.
Operationally, the feature set extends beyond basic web ordering. Restaurants can offer scheduled pickup, QR-based Scan to Order and Scan to Pay, designated food-type label printing, customer rewards, promotions, and email campaigns. The trade-off is platform dependence: the required Clover hardware and printer make this a poor fit for restaurants seeking an independent ordering system, and the lack of a white-label app limits branded mobile-app options. Restaurants already using Clover POS should consider it for integrated ordering; businesses wanting broader platform independence should look elsewhere.
