CloudPayroll review
Australian payroll with ATO reporting, employee self-service and HR tools.

CloudPayroll is a cloud payroll and employee self-service platform for Australian employers, from micro-businesses to larger organisations, franchises and groups. It covers payroll processing, leave and employee records, ATO Single Touch Payroll reporting, and automated superannuation payments. Employees can access payslips and tax summaries, request leave and log time through the kiosk and mobile tools. Its breadth makes it relevant to businesses that want payroll and HR reporting together, rather than payroll processing alone.
The plans scale from Mini to Enterprise. Mini is for businesses with up to 5 employees and includes ATO reporting and cloud access; its pricing requires contacting sales. Premium adds Employee Kiosk, HR document storage, 50+ reports and automated superannuation payments. According to the vendor's pricing page, Premium costs $2.20 per employee per pay run plus $11.50 per weekly pay run; the FAQ gives a different weekly charge of $7.75. Enterprise adds multi-business and multi-location support, API integrations, group reporting and a dedicated account manager. That tier structure suits buyers who need increasingly broad reporting and entity support, but the conflicting Premium weekly charges merit clarification before budgeting.
For ecosystem fit, CloudPayroll lists integrations with Xero, Deputy, Easy Employer, Humanforce, iDt Group, Tanda, Timecloud, Aussie Time Sheets, Zoho Books, Canyou, enableHR, MyHR and Subscribe-HR. Connections use API or file upload and download. The platform is available on web, iOS and Android, with API access; employee tools include leave requests, balance access and mobile time logging with manager approval. Phone, email and documentation are support channels. Choose it if Australian payroll compliance, employee self-service and payroll/HR reporting are central requirements, especially across multiple entities. Micro-businesses should compare the effort of contacting sales for Mini pricing, while businesses needing a clear Premium quote should resolve the weekly-price discrepancy first.
