Clock POS is a cloud point-of-sale system for hotel restaurants, bars and room service. It suits independent hotels, hotel groups and multi-property operations that need table layouts, booking management, restaurant and bar modes, and order taking on phones, tablets or desktop devices. Its hotel focus extends beyond checkout: staff can post charges to rooms, company and event folios, while guests can place room-service orders through QR codes or a guest portal.

The all-inclusive Clock subscription includes restaurant POS, PMS and reservations, rates, invoicing, front desk tools, guest messaging, a booking engine and card payment automation. Pricing is calculated from annual net revenue and rooms, making the commercial model more tailored to hospitality operations than to a simple fixed-rate restaurant POS. Its ecosystem includes Stripe, Adyen, Elavon, Worldline/Six Payments, QuickBooks, Lightspeed L-Series, Lightspeed K-Series, Gastronovi POS and MarketMan. Inventory and stock tracking are handled through connected third-party apps, while Clock connects the POS with its property-management platform.

Operational depth is the main reason to choose Clock POS. Custom table layouts, modifiers, discounts, surcharges, service fees, split bills, combined payment types, room charges, kitchen routing and outlet, item-sales and revenue reports cover the needs of table-service hospitality. The trade-off is focus: businesses wanting a straightforward standalone retail POS may find its hotel workflows unnecessary, and operators seeking native inventory management should assess the connected-app requirement carefully. Hotels and restaurants that need dining, reservations, room folios and room service in one subscription are the clearest fit.
