Clipfound is a cloud, web-based tool for finding usable moments in long-form video and audio. It accepts YouTube links or file uploads for podcasts, interviews, webinars, and livestream recordings, then transcribes audio, detects topics, and ranks moments that may work as social clips. Suggested clips appear on an editable timeline with timecodes and draggable in/out points. Solo creators, small teams, and mid-market editors can download individual segments or send timeline files into a non-linear editor.

Published monthly plans show a straightforward three-tier structure. Creator costs $19 and includes unlimited clip detection, topic detection, timeline and segment export, and exports up to 1080p; its pricing notes specify 10 upload hours per month. Studio costs $49 and adds music theme suggestions, priority processing, 4K exports, and three seats. Agency costs $149 and adds custom topic models, unlimited seats, and SSO. There is no free plan. The plan progression is clearest for teams that need higher output quality, collaborative access, or organization-specific topic models rather than additional publishing tools.

Clipfound fits an editing-led workflow through EDL and FCPXML exports for Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and Final Cut, while individual segment downloads support simpler handoffs. Its focus stops at discovery and draft cutting: the FAQ says captions and reframing are added in the user’s editor, and the positioning excludes social publishing and automatic reframing. Music mood suggestions begin with Studio, while custom topic models are reserved for Agency. The homepage describes early access through a waitlist, and email is the listed support channel. Choose Clipfound when ranked moments and editable exports matter most; choose another tool if built-in captions, reframing, or direct social distribution are central requirements.
