Clickatell SMS API is an enterprise messaging service for businesses that need to send and receive SMS through APIs and gateway integrations. It supports customer notifications, alerts, authentication, marketing, support and other messaging workflows. Businesses can provision short codes, long numbers and toll-free numbers, while managing sender IDs, delivery receipts and two-way callbacks through web-based account tools. Its support for both one-way and two-way SMS makes it suitable for legacy gateway environments as well as newer API integrations.
Pricing is organized into four plans. Prepaid covers outgoing SMS messaging, SMS channel access, enterprise-grade channel APIs and number provisioning. Connect adds enterprise SMS through an API and web app while retaining channel access, enterprise APIs and number provisioning. Interact expands into SMS and additional messaging channels with automation and live-agent support. Transact includes messaging channels, automation and payments in messaging.
