ClearPathGPS is a cloud-based fleet telematics platform for service businesses and commercial fleets managing vehicles, field crews, equipment, and other mobile assets. Its core coverage includes real-time vehicle and asset location tracking, virtual geofences, entry and exit alerts, driver-behaviour reporting, vehicle diagnostics, engine fault-code monitoring, ELD and HOS workflows, electronic logs, DVIR, dashboards, historical reports, analytics, dispatch, text-to-dispatch, and AI-enabled road- and driver-facing dashcams. Mobile access is available through web, iOS, Android, and tablets. The product has been part of GPS Insight since 2023 and was founded in 2013.

Pricing is contact-sales rather than self-serve. The published plans are Standard and Pro, with monthly contracts and per-vehicle rates. Standard includes real-time fleet visibility, virtual geofences, a basic report library, and U.S.-based support. Pro adds advanced reporting, real-time custom alerts, text-to-dispatch, partner integrations, ongoing guidance, and open API access. That structure makes the product easier to assess by operational need: Standard covers core visibility and reporting, while Pro is aimed at teams that need deeper workflow customization and integration options.

ClearPathGPS fits fleets that want one system spanning location, compliance, vehicle health, driver behaviour, dispatch, and video. Its integration list includes CerebrumX, AlphaRoute, ServiceTitan, Fleetio, Route4Me, WEX Fuel Cards, MacroPoint, Slack, ManagerPlus, and Trucker Tools. Fleets should choose it when dispatch and compliance sit alongside telematics requirements; smaller teams seeking a free or fully self-serve purchasing path should look elsewhere. The strongest distinction is its combination of ELD/HOS workflows, diagnostics, safety reporting, dashcams, mobile access, and API connectivity in one platform.

ClearPathGPS pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Combines tracking, diagnostics, safety, ELD/HOS, dispatch, and dashcams
    • Offers web, iOS, Android, and tablet access for mobile fleet teams
    • Includes named integrations plus open API access in the Pro tier
  • Where it doesn't
    • Pricing requires contacting sales, and there is no free plan
    • Advanced reporting, custom alerts, and API access are reserved for Pro
    • Its positioning is strongest for U.S. businesses and commercial fleets
