Clad9 review
A web-focused wardrobe stylist with weather, calendar and capsule-planning tools.

Clad9 is an AI wardrobe and personal styling service for people who want outfit suggestions based on clothes they already own. It turns uploaded garment photos into a searchable digital closet with automatic tagging and background removal, then uses that wardrobe to suggest outfits. Calendar events, weather, seasons, occasions, body shape and personal color can inform recommendations. Its range—from fit checks and outfit history to capsule planning and packing lists—makes it a fit for users who want more than a one-off outfit generator, especially those comfortable managing their wardrobe on the web.
The plans scale from basic wardrobe organization to higher usage. Essential is free and includes batch wardrobe capture, calendar-aware outfits and 30 days of outfit history. Signature costs $16 per month, or $160 per year, and adds calendar-aware outfits up to a week ahead and early access to new features. Atelier is $35 per month or $350 per year; it adds daily fit checks, 2K studio photography of every piece, priority processing and unlimited outfit history. The vendor says annual billing is 17% off and offers two months free. Choose Essential to try the core closet-and-outfit workflow; Signature or Atelier make more sense when their added planning horizon, fit checks or history match your needs.
Clad9’s breadth is its clearest distinction: recommendations can account for calendar and weather context, while capsule planning, visual search and packing lists support longer-term wardrobe decisions. Calendar and weather providers are listed integrations, and MCP access connects Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and custom clients. The web app, Chrome extension and API broaden access, but listed mobile support is web-only. Virtual try-on and body-shape/color analysis are marked as in development, so shoppers seeking those as available features should look elsewhere for now. Clad9 is better suited to web-first users who value contextual planning than to people looking for a dedicated mobile experience or immediately available virtual try-on.
