Citadel Digital Signage is a cloud-based platform for creating, scheduling, publishing, and monitoring content across digital screens. It supports images, videos, playlists, apps, and web pages, with portrait and landscape layouts. Small businesses can use it for scheduled promotional, informational, or operational content, while multi-location operators, agencies, and enterprise networks get tools for remote management, approvals, and reporting.

Pricing is structured around screen-based monthly plans. Business costs $17 per screen per month and includes up to three team member accounts, unlimited storage, advanced scheduling and day-parting, remote screen management, proof-of-play reporting, and email support. Enterprise costs $27 per screen per month and adds live screen monitoring, a white-label dashboard, unlimited team members, a dedicated account manager, an SLA-backed uptime guarantee, and API access. Both plans offer annual billing with 15% savings, and a 14-day trial is available. The starting screen limit is one screen, so the entry plan may be less compelling for larger deployments.

Citadel’s strongest fit is scheduled signage that needs more control than simple playlist playback. Day, date-range, recurring, and day-part scheduling support detailed publishing calendars, while offline playback and auto-restart after power cuts or reboots help maintain continuity. Canva, YouTube, Instagram, Google Drive, Google Reviews, Live Weather, and News Ticker integrations expand content options. Role-based permissions and approval workflows suit teams with review requirements, and proof-of-play reporting adds visibility after content is published. Businesses needing broader platform coverage than web or a lower-cost multi-screen starting point should consider alternatives; Citadel is better suited to organizations that value scheduling, remote administration, and operational oversight.
