Our verdict on CineLog
CineLog brings screenplay editing and production planning into one film pre-production workspace for filmmakers and crews. Scripts can be imported in FDX, Fountain, PDF, TXT, and RTF formats, then tagged across 12 production categories to create breakdown sheets. The workflow continues through shot lists, storyboards, cast and crew records, a stripboard-style schedule, and call sheets with schedule, location, and personnel details. It is available on web, Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android, with offline work after initial sign-in and syncing when reconnected. That combination suits crews coordinating pre-production across devices, especially when offline access matters.
CineLog’s free plan includes core script, shot-list, storyboard, and call-sheet tools plus offline mode. Filmmaker is $15 per month and adds PDF export for major features and standard support. Production Company is $40 per month, includes Filmmaker features, and adds call-sheet distribution with delivery confirmations and a collaboration updates log. Studio is $90 per month, includes Production Company features, and adds priority email support. Enterprise lists dedicated cloud infrastructure and database, enhanced security and encryption, white-labeling, a dedicated account manager, and 24/7 priority support. The schedule feature documentation says it is rolling out gradually, so crews whose workflow depends on stripboard scheduling should factor that into their choice.
