Cinderblock brings scheduling, dispatch, customer records, estimates, invoices, payments and task management into a job-management tool for contractors, including locksmiths. Its stated fit is owner-operators and small teams, and the Foundation plan includes two users, with additional seats available for a fee. Web, iOS and Android access covers office planning and field work; mobile features include offline access, job updates, photos and time tracking. A 14-day free trial is available without a required card.

Pricing is organized into Foundation and Build, with monthly and annual billing shown. Foundation is $60 per month on monthly billing or $48 per month with annual billing; it includes appointment scheduling and dispatch, estimates and invoices, credit card and ACH payments, task management and checklists, automated reminders, and QuickBooks Online integration. Build is $125 monthly or $99 per month with annual billing. It includes Foundation features plus timesheets, purchase orders, forms, and job costing and profitability. The published pricing states that annual billing saves 20%. Change orders are described as coming soon, so they should not be treated as an included current capability.

The most useful distinction is how far Cinderblock connects field work to back-office administration. Estimates support line items, markups, taxes, discounts and signatures, while invoices support progress billing and online payments. Offline mobile work automatically synchronizes, and the two-way QuickBooks Online integration gives it a defined accounting connection. The integration choice is narrow, however, and purchase orders and job costing sit behind Build. Contractors seeking essentials and offline job handling may find Foundation a closer fit; teams needing broader integrations or advanced optimization should look elsewhere. This is a focused option rather than a broad operations suite.

Cinderblock pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Schedules and dispatches jobs, with automated customer and team reminders
    • Creates estimates, invoices and online payments, including progress billing
    • Offline iOS and Android work syncs automatically and connects with QuickBooks Online
  • Where it doesn't
    • Only QuickBooks Online is listed as an integration
    • Purchase orders and job costing require the higher-priced Build plan
    • Change orders are marked as coming soon, not currently available
