Chronos Workflow is a web-based workflow automation platform for organizations digitizing business processes and documents. It is suited to approval, HR, finance, back-office, and other enterprise workflows that require structured routing, configurable forms, document control, deadlines, reporting, and audit history. Its visual process designer supports steps, routings, splits, joins, loops, and subprocesses, while custom eForms can include field visibility and QR or barcode capture.

Pricing is organized around either individual processes or broader enterprise deployments. The Process-based Plan costs €190 per process per month or €2,280 per process per year and includes unlimited users, a ready-to-use setup, one process subscription, and optional support. The Self-hosted Subscription costs €699 per month or €7,969 per year, with unlimited users and processes, one production site, and optional upgrades and support. The Enterprise Subscription costs €899 per month and adds unlimited SQL connections to the same unlimited-user, unlimited-process structure. The Enterprise Licence costs €21,990 one time and includes install and admin training, one production site, and optional upgrades and support.

Its strongest fit is controlled, document-heavy process work. Document management includes version history, audit history, WordMerge, and e-signatures; task lists add deadlines, priorities, escalation, and expiry notifications; and reporting covers statistical, performance, and calculated-field outputs with Excel export. Enterprise connections include SAP, other ERPs, SQL databases, Active Directory, web services, MS Visio, ARIS, and QPR ProcessGuide. Organizations needing self-hosting or broad process coverage can choose the corresponding subscription tiers, while teams seeking a free entry point, non-web deployment, or more than one production site in the listed enterprise plans should consider another workflow tool.
