CheerRecruit is a web-based tryout and evaluation platform for schools, cheer teams, gyms, coaches, judges, and program directors. It brings athlete registration, shared profiles, digital scoring, video review, rankings, check-in, and team placement into one workflow. Its stated audience spans school sideline, recreational, All Star, elite, and college cheer programs. The fit is strongest for organizations coordinating tryouts and deciding team placement, rather than those looking primarily for ongoing program administration.
Evaluation tools are its center of gravity. Programs can configure scoring rubrics, collect simultaneous scores from multiple coaches or judges, and view rankings in real time. Tryout scheduling and athlete check-in address logistics, while video recording or uploads give evaluators material to review. Team placement includes drag-and-drop tools, and Platinum adds Team Builder table and board views. Athlete and parent notifications, roster exports, and archived season records help carry decisions beyond the evaluation itself. These features make it more than a score sheet, but they remain organized around the tryout cycle.
The published plans show Gold includes custom criteria, multi-coach scoring, athlete profiles, and video review. Platinum adds multi-judge scoring, uniform and size collection, reports, exports, and team builder views; its displayed launch price is $400 per year and regular price is $450 per year. Diamond adds unlimited videos per athlete, external vendor/consultant and judge/choreographer access, advanced placement tools, and priority setup support. CheerRecruit is labeled as in beta testing, with paid signup coming soon. It runs on the web, with email support listed. Programs needing tryout evaluation and placement tools may find the plan structure relevant; those needing mobile apps or broader recurring operations should look elsewhere.
