Checkbot is a Chrome extension for website owners, developers, consultants and SEO practitioners who need practical audits across small or large sites. It crawls pages locally and checks SEO, speed and security issues, including broken links, duplicate titles, duplicate content, URL problems, redirects, minification, caching, render-blocking scripts, HTTPS, mixed content, password forms and security headers. It can inspect public, staging, localhost, private-network and password-protected sites.

Its strongest advantage is breadth at a low entry price. The Basic plan is free and includes 100 URLs per crawl, unlimited crawls, unlimited sites and ad-supported use. Professional costs $120 per year with annual billing or $15 per month with monthly billing. Both Professional options increase the crawl limit to 10,000 URLs, remove ads, allow localhost crawling and add PDF summary reports. Custom crawl rules can target subdomains, subfolders, depth, patterns and content types, making the tool useful when a full-site crawl is too broad.
