CharityAuctions is fundraising software for nonprofits, schools, PTOs, and community organizations running auctions and related events. It covers online, silent, live, and hybrid formats, with browser-based mobile bidding, live bid entry, ticket sales, raffles, giving appeals, checkout, and reporting. The product is positioned for volunteer-led and small-to-medium fundraising teams that need more than a single auction format without adopting an enterprise event platform.
Pricing is structured around two paths. Nothing Out of Pocket has no upfront cost and includes unlimited outbid alerts, unlimited bidders, and bidder fee pass-through. Prepay and Save is listed at $499 USD as a one-time payment and includes a 3% success fee, event setup and configuration, online and live auctions, an Auction Success Manager, and email and SMS blasts. Another Prepay and Save entry describes a lower success fee than Nothing Out of Pocket. The vendor also offers free account creation and private previews, while the paid plans define the available transaction paths and service additions.
The strongest fit is an organization that wants one web-based workspace for bidding, event administration, and post-event follow-up. Paddle raises, fund-a-need giving, instant checkout, invoices, receipts, attendee management, and donor, bidder, winner, item, and payment reports extend the product beyond auction mechanics. CSV or data exports support moving event information elsewhere, while the platform listing names web as the supported platform. Teams that need native integrations, a dedicated bidding app, or a no-fee free plan should consider a more specialized alternative. CharityAuctions makes more sense for fundraisers prioritizing format breadth, mobile browser access, and optional setup support.
