Changi Pay is a digital wallet feature in the Changi App for paying at selected merchants at Changi Airport, Jewel Changi Airport and iShopChangi. It suits travelers and shoppers who want a focused mobile payment option for airport purchases. The service runs on iOS and Android and is available to Changi Account members using Singapore or Malaysia mobile numbers. Payments use Changi Pay QR codes at participating merchants.

The published model is free, with no paid tier described. Users can link a credit or debit card, apply eligible e-vouchers at checkout, and store and manage those vouchers in the wallet. Eligible purchases automatically earn Changi Rewards points. The surrounding ecosystem includes the Changi App, Changi Rewards and Liquid Group payment services, giving the wallet a narrow but coherent fit for Changi-related shopping and dining. Biometric login is available alongside a 6-digit PIN, so users can choose their preferred sign-in method.

Changi Pay’s stated compliance coverage includes PCI DSS and ISO 27001, relevant signals for a wallet handling card-linked payments. Its scope is intentionally local: remaining use is limited to participating Changi Airport and Jewel merchants, while overseas Alipay/Alipay+ QR payments and Liquid Account use ended on 1 October 2026. There are also no peer-to-peer transfers or bill-pay functions. Choose Changi Pay if your spending is concentrated at these Singapore airport and Jewel locations and you value vouchers and Changi Rewards integration. Choose another mobile payment app for broader merchant coverage, money transfers or bill payment.
