CCAvenue is an India-based payment gateway for merchants, enterprises, corporations, and governments accepting online and in-app payments. It supports cards, net banking, UPI, wallets, prepaid instruments, bank EMI, mobile payments, invoices, subscriptions, payment links, and in-app integrations. Its coverage suits Indian merchants that need many local payment modes, while international payment processing in 27 major foreign currencies extends its use to cross-border transactions.

The published plans use transaction-based pricing rather than a monthly account structure. Standard lists a 2.00% platform fee for online payments, with 18% GST applicable on payments and no setup fees. The Custom plan is aimed at enterprises and includes customised pricing, white-label or reseller partnerships, and customised settlement and payout schedules. This structure is straightforward for merchants evaluating online transaction costs, but enterprise buyers need to contact sales and agree on commercial terms. CCAvenue also states that commercials may differ by merchant category.

Platform coverage is a major part of the product’s scope. Merchants can choose hosted checkout or iFrame integration, while developers have access to APIs, SDKs, mobile SDKs for iOS and Android, and plugins for platforms including Magento, WooCommerce, Drupal, PrestaShop, GiveWP, Zen Cart, and Joomla. The gateway also includes smart dynamic routing, payment retries, recurring subscription payments, real-time transaction reports and analytics, and fraud and risk identification tooling. CCAvenue is a strong fit for businesses that need broad payment acceptance and multiple integration paths. Merchants seeking a free plan or a simple, narrowly scoped payment setup should look for a provider with a less extensive feature and pricing structure.
