Cast HR is a modular, cloud-based HR platform for small and growing teams. It centralizes employee records, organizational charts, leave and PTO, documents, workflows, reporting, performance reviews, time tracking, and employee self-service. Managers can approve leave and manage employee information, while employees can request leave and clock in through web or mobile interfaces. It is suited to teams that want core HR functions in one system without starting with a large software commitment.

Pricing is structured around a free Startup plan and two paid monthly tiers. Startup costs $0 per month and includes an employee directory, organizational chart, leave and time-off management, document storage, HR analytics and reports, and email support for teams of up to 20 employees. Basic costs $2 per user per month and adds a public holidays calendar, personal goals tracking, employee document management, plus Slack and Microsoft Teams integration for leave management. Professional costs $3.50 per user per month and adds compensation management, the HR Flow automation engine, headcount analytics, a REST API, webhooks, audit logs, and exports. A separate 30-day free trial is available without a card requirement.

The product’s main strength is breadth within a modular HR setup. Alongside employee records and leave, teams can use onboarding checklists, configurable workflows, performance reviews, 180° and 360° feedback, KPIs, goals, OKRs, time tracking, overtime tracking, and CSV/XLS exports. Integrations include Slack, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, Google Calendar, and Outlook. Cast HR also lists email, chat, and documentation support, with SOC 2 and GDPR compliance. Choose it for affordable, expandable HR administration across small and mid-market teams. Teams needing a different mobile app experience or a narrower specialist tool may want to compare alternatives.
