Casely review
A specification-driven generator with broad inputs, coverage planning, and API exports.

Casely is an open-source QA skill for Claude that turns requirements and supporting materials into structured test cases. QA engineers and team leads can provide PDF, DOCX, XLSX, TXT, Markdown, or pasted text, then review a proposed test plan before cases are generated. The workflow is designed for teams that want consistent, specification-led coverage rather than starting with individual test ideas.
Its strongest capability is the combination of coverage planning and specification review. Casely flags untestable wording, contradictions, and specification gaps before generating cases, then applies equivalence partitioning, boundary analysis, decision tables, state transitions, and error guessing. It can also match an existing team's test-case columns, order, tone, and ID scheme, which makes the output more suitable for established QA conventions. Cases can be exported as a consolidated Excel file or as one Markdown file per case.
API coverage extends the tool beyond document-based test design. When requirements describe API endpoints, Casely can generate runnable Postman collections, environment variables, and assertions, with Newman included among its integrations. It also connects with TestRail, Qase, Zephyr, and Xray. Casely should suit QA teams that want an open-source, Claude-based workflow with explicit coverage review and structured exports. Teams seeking a mature browser-based collaboration experience should account for the fact that the browser team workflow is identified as early access, while teams wanting broader QA automation beyond specification-driven case generation may prefer a more expansive platform.
