Cartrack review
A broad telematics platform for fleets that need tracking, sensors and driver-risk analytics.

Cartrack is a cloud-based fleet telematics and smart mobility platform for businesses managing connected vehicles and other assets. It brings together live vehicle location, near-real-time tracking, trip history, driver-behaviour scorecards, fuel reporting, geofencing, vehicle sensors, maintenance alerts, engine diagnostics and route optimisation. It is suited to fleets that need operational visibility alongside driver-risk analytics, rather than a basic location-only tracker.
The published plans are Quick, Quick Plus, Executive Plus and Management Plus. Quick covers basic tracking; Quick Plus adds power notification management and logbooks; Executive Plus adds CarWatch; and Management Plus adds crash sensors. Cartrack is paid and has no free plan. According to the vendor's pricing page, business fleet pricing is handled through contact with sales and is tailored by fleet size, features and location. Regional public prices on the South Africa site cover consumer and small-fleet packages, so buyers should assess the applicable commercial plan for their operation.
Integration breadth is a key part of the platform. The Fleet API provides vehicle, driver, trip, location, fuel, sensor and telemetry data, while Android and iOS SDKs support vehicle-access integrations. The platform also connects operational data with AI camera-based driver monitoring and video evidence, giving safety teams a way to review driving events alongside scorecards. Preventive maintenance alerts, digital inspection logs, working-hours tracking and cargo or temperature monitoring extend the system beyond vehicle location. Cartrack should suit fleets seeking one system for tracking, diagnostics, sensors, safety and operational workflows. Fleets needing only basic tracking may find its wider scope unnecessary.
