Our verdict on CalWidget – Calendar Widget
CalWidget – Calendar Widget puts upcoming calendar appointments in a resizable, scrollable Android home-screen widget. It suits people who want to check what is coming up without opening their calendar app, especially those who prefer a long list over a compact view of only the next event. The widget can show appointments without a fixed entry limit, and its customizable formats, colors and layout let users adapt how that list appears. It is a focused calendar display, not a general collection of home-screen tools.
The appointment details are a notable strength. CalWidget can display event locations and end times, as well as multi-day events, so the widget can convey more than a date and title. Users can resize it after placing it on the home screen and scroll through upcoming appointments. This makes it a fit for people who want a persistent view of their calendar and value seeing several events at once. Those looking for weather, music controls, task or note widgets, or shortcut controls should look for a broader widget app instead.
CalWidget is free to download and includes digital purchases, making it accessible to try as a calendar-focused widget. Its scope is deliberately narrow: the listed customization centers on date and time formats, colors and layout, rather than a wider set of widget types. The app is for Android and is aimed at solo and small-scale use; support is available by email. Choose it if a scrollable, customizable appointment list is the main need. It is a less suitable choice for someone who wants a cross-platform calendar companion, a multi-purpose widget toolkit, or support through channels beyond email.
