CallSign is a group communication app for gamers and friends who want text channels, direct messages, voice channels, video, screen sharing, file uploads, and AI assistance in one service. It supports web access, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android, while PlayStation and Xbox support are listed as coming soon. Its gaming focus also includes game status and streaming while gaming, making it suited to communities that move between text, voice, and shared gameplay activity.

The free plan covers servers, channels, direct messages, voice channels, basic AI assistance, always-on safety, and 25 MB file uploads. Pro Basic adds custom emoji anywhere, custom stickers, 50 MB uploads, and limited AI assistance. Pro adds unlimited AI assistance, voice transcription, 500 MB uploads, HD video streaming up to 4K/60fps, and an animated avatar. The plan list repeats the Pro Basic and Pro entries, so buyers should compare the published inclusions carefully before choosing a paid tier.

CallSign’s strongest distinction is the breadth of its AI and communication features. Beyond an assistant, it includes voice transcription, smart summaries, semantic message search, file uploads, video, and screen sharing. That combination may suit gaming groups that want conversations to remain searchable and easier to revisit. The trade-off is that several of the more advanced capabilities sit behind Pro, while console users must wait for the listed PlayStation and Xbox support. Choose CallSign if broad device coverage and AI-assisted community chat matter most; consider another option if native console availability or simpler paid-plan comparison is a priority.

  • Where it doesn't
    • PlayStation and Xbox support are listed as coming soon
