CAKE is restaurant point-of-sale and operations software for quick-service, fast-casual, full-service, and multi-location restaurants. It combines POS terminals and payment processing with online ordering, kitchen display tools, guest management, reservations, waitlists, reporting, loyalty, gift cards, kiosks, and handheld POS devices. The suite is suited to growing restaurants that want core operations and guest-facing workflows in one system, particularly when several locations or restaurant business systems need to connect.
Its plan structure follows restaurant scale. Core is for single-location restaurants and includes a POS terminal with payment processing, reporting and analytics, and 24/7 U.S. human support. Growth adds online ordering and loyalty, virtual or white-glove installation, professional website design, and 24/7 bilingual support. Scale is for multi-location brands and adds enterprise integrations, a dedicated account manager, and 24/7 support. The published pricing approach states $0 down and no monthly POS bill, with costs incorporated into payment-processing rates; plan costs are handled through contact with sales rather than a comparable recurring software fee.
CAKE’s breadth is its main advantage. Restaurants can manage modifiers, pricing, availability, and multi-location menu synchronization, while integrations connect with tools such as 7shifts, Olo, Uber Eats, DoorDash, QuickBooks, Xero, Restaurant365, Paytronix, Checkmate, and Shogo. Staff roles, timesheets, scheduling, labor management, and payroll integrations are also covered, with scheduling presented through the restaurant integrations ecosystem. Choose CAKE if you need a wide operational suite and integration coverage. Restaurants seeking a free plan, disclosed monthly software pricing, or access beyond the web should consider a different fit.
