C•CURE 9000 is a centralized physical access control and security event management system from Software House, a Johnson Controls business. It is designed for mid-market and large organizations managing personnel, credentials, privileges, access events, alarms, visitors and integrated video across standalone or enterprise deployments. Windows client software, browser-based administration and C•CURE Go mobile administration support different operating needs, while mobile credentials are available through HID Origo integration.

Its strongest fit is a security environment that needs multiple systems managed together. C•CURE 9000 integrates with video management, intrusion, intercom, fire alarm and PSIM systems, along with HID Origo Mobile Identities and Schlage electronic locks. The platform also supports access event monitoring, journaling, reporting, audit logs and visitor appointment, registration, badge and tracking workflows. Distributed enterprise architecture with satellite application servers supports centralized monitoring and global reporting across complex deployments.

The platform’s breadth is also its main qualification. It covers access, alarms, personnel, visitors, mobile administration and security-event workflows rather than focusing only on door control. That makes it a candidate for organizations with integrated security operations and both lock and gate requirements, but it may be more scope than a simple access-control deployment needs. Hardware capacity and supported features vary by licensed configuration and deployment, and pricing follows a contact-sales model. Choose C•CURE 9000 when centralized oversight and security-system integration are priorities; consider a narrower system when the requirement is limited to straightforward access management.
