BuildingBlok is construction management software for subcontractors, general contractors, and owners. It brings field reporting, time tracking, punch lists, RFIs, submittals, bidding, documents, budgets, and project costs into one web and mobile service. Field teams can work with daily reports, timesheets, punch-list assignments, photos, statuses, and deadlines, while project and cost teams can manage records across the same product. Unlimited users are included on the Field plans, making the offering suited to organizations that need broad team access rather than per-user licensing.
Pricing is organized by workflow scope. The Field plan costs $249 per month with annual billing or $299 per month with monthly billing, and includes Daily Reports, Punch-Lists, Timesheets, unlimited users, and chat and email support. Office costs $849 annually or $999 monthly and adds the Field Bundle, ASIs, Bidding, Memos, RFIs, and Submittals. Enterprise costs $1,449 annually or $1,699 monthly and adds the Office Bundle, Change Orders, Invoices, Owner Invoices, and Payment Applications. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.
BuildingBlok’s main strength is breadth across field and administrative construction workflows. Its published features include project budgets, cost reporting, change orders, audit trails, centralized documents, bid-status tracking, RFI responses, submittal updates, and payment schedules. Access is available through web, iOS, and Android, supporting field and office coordination. The tradeoff is a narrow integration layer: CSV import and export are the listed integration options, which may limit ecosystem fit for teams requiring connected software workflows. Choose BuildingBlok when a flat-fee, multi-workflow system fits your team; consider an alternative if extensive integrations are essential.
