Buddy Punch is cloud-based time clock software for organizations tracking employee hours, attendance, breaks, schedules, locations, and payroll-ready data. It suits small teams that want more than a basic clock-in form, especially when employees work across locations or need different ways to record time. Employees can clock in and out from the web, iOS, and Android apps, while supported methods also include PIN or kiosk punching, QR codes, text messages, Face ID, and group punches. Managers can review and approve timesheets, monitor attendance, calculate overtime, and manage time off.

Pricing is organized into three annual-billing plans. Starter costs $4.99 per user per month and includes GPS on punches, mobile apps, time tracking, time-off tracking, alerts and reminders, and job tracking. Pro costs $6.99 per user per month and adds offline punching, basic geofencing, QR code scanning, PIN or kiosk punching, webcam photos on punches, and break compliance. Advanced costs $12.99 per user per month and adds advanced reporting, single sign-on, manager permissions, higher API limits, dedicated support, and priority onboarding. A 14-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan.

Buddy Punch fits teams that need flexible clocking options and practical attendance controls in one system. Its platform coverage, GPS capture, geofencing, break tracking, approval workflows, and payroll integrations give administrators several ways to connect recorded hours with payroll operations. Integrations include QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Gusto, ADP, and Paychex. Teams needing advanced reporting, single sign-on, or higher API limits should budget for Advanced. Organizations seeking a free ongoing plan or a simpler time clock without multiple punch methods may prefer a narrower alternative.
