Brivo Security Suite review
A mature, multi-site security suite for gyms that need more than door access.

Brivo Security Suite is a cloud-based physical security platform for gyms, studios, businesses, and multi-location organizations. It brings access control, video surveillance, visitor management, intrusion detection, credential management, reporting, and occupancy insights into one system. Fitness facilities can use membership-status synchronization, scheduled access rules, mobile and digital wallet credentials, temporary guest access, and remote administration. Web, iOS, and Android support extend administration and credential access across platforms. It is aimed at organizations that need centralized control over doors, users, permissions, visitors, and access events rather than a basic entry-only system.
Pricing is handled through sales, with monthly or annual plans available through a reseller. Standard covers core access management, video surveillance integration, one year of data retention, and five Brivo Mobile Passes. Professional adds API integrations, occupancy tracking, single sign-on, two years of data retention, and 500 Brivo Mobile Passes. Enterprise adds multi-site management, advanced security and compliance capabilities, three years of data retention, and 1,000 Brivo Mobile Passes. Multifamily is a separate edition with access management, video integration, property-management-system integration, up to 30 administrators, 500 mobile passes, and one year of data retention.
The suite’s strongest fit is for gyms with multiple locations, unattended access requirements, or a need to connect entry events with video and visitor activity. Membership integrations help align credentials with account status, while scheduled rules can govern roles, doors, zones, and time windows. API, identity-management, video, visitor-management, and intrusion-detection integrations support broader operational environments. Buyers wanting occupancy tracking, single sign-on, or API access should consider Professional or above; organizations requiring multi-site administration and advanced security or compliance capabilities should choose Enterprise. Smaller gyms seeking a simple, transparently priced access tool may find the sales-led structure and broader security scope more than they need.
