BrightLocal Reputation Manager is a web-based reputation management tool for local businesses and agencies. It brings review monitoring, feedback collection, response management, and website publishing into one system. The product aggregates reviews from supported business and industry sites, with filtering by rating, review count, trend, source, date range, and review type. It is especially suited to agencies that need branded client reporting and businesses that want structured review-request workflows rather than monitoring alone.

Its strongest area is the breadth of review-generation and display tools. Teams can request reviews by email and SMS, collect NPS feedback, use branded requests, QR codes, request URLs, Link Mode, or Kiosk Mode, and automate requests through drip campaigns. Website widgets provide embeddable code for publishing selected reviews. The Grow plan includes review monitoring across multiple sites, email, SMS, and in-store campaigns, website review publishing, and Reputation Manager features. A 14-day free trial is available, while there is no free plan.

BrightLocal’s response and agency features are useful but focused. Users can receive new-review notifications and negative-feedback alerts, respond directly to Google Business Profile and Facebook reviews, and use AI assistance to draft replies. White-labeled reports support agency delivery, and the platform runs on the web with Google Business Profile and Facebook integrations. The main constraint is coverage: monitoring spans many listed review sites, but direct response tools are specified for only two platforms. Organizations needing mention monitoring or wider in-platform response coverage should consider another option. Agencies running review campaigns, and local businesses prioritizing collection, alerts, and website display, are the clearest fit.
