Bopup IM Suite is a client/server business messaging system for organizations that need private workplace communication across LAN, WAN, or the internet. B Labs combines a centralized Communication Server with Windows desktop and Android messenger clients. The feature set covers encrypted personal and group messaging, permission-controlled groups, offline message and file delivery, notifications, managed file distribution, and support for Terminal Server and Citrix. It is suited to small, midsize, and enterprise businesses that prioritize administrative control over broad platform coverage.

Pricing supports both limited free use and paid deployment models. Free mode keeps the Communication Server operating after the trial in a limited mode, with messages capped at 45 symbols and transferred files at 1 MB. The Standard Pack is $460 as a one-time annual license for an IM server plus 25 concurrent users; Office Pack is $725 for 50 concurrent users; and Enterprise Pack is $1,250 for 100 concurrent users. These self-hosted packs include a 10% discount and one year of free upgrades. Hosted Bopup Messenger costs $1.50 per user per month, while Hosted Bopup Observer costs $1.20, with hosted communication, free upgrades, and free technical support.

Its main distinction is operational control: administrators can import accounts through Active Directory, manage permissions, archive and search messages and files, apply centralized client updates and branding, and send messages from scripts or third-party applications through the command line. Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL/Postgres Pro are also supported. That focus makes Bopup IM Suite a practical choice for Windows-centered deployments with defined internal communication requirements. Organizations needing broader operating-system support or a larger integration ecosystem should consider a wider team chat platform instead.
