BoldDesk review
Feature-rich omnichannel ticketing with a five-agent minimum and no free plan.

BoldDesk is a cloud-based help desk platform from Syncfusion for customer support teams managing requests across email, live chat, web forms, widgets, messaging channels, portals, mobile apps, and APIs. It combines ticketing with a shared inbox, public help center, customer portal, workflow automation, SLA management, reporting, customer satisfaction surveys, and agent performance analytics. Teams can also use custom fields, forms, roles, brands, and domains to shape the service experience around different support operations.
Pricing is straightforward but sets a higher entry threshold than a single-agent product. The published annual pricing shows $20 per user per month, while the listed BoldDesk plan costs $99 per month for five agents and includes all features. That tier covers email, chat, omnichannel support, workflow automation, SLA management, a knowledge base, and a customer portal. A 15-day free trial is available, but there is no free plan. AI credits are promoted as included for the first three months, while some AI capabilities may be add-ons.
Its strongest fit is with teams that need more than basic email ticketing and want automation, service-level controls, self-service content, and customer-facing ticket tracking in one system. Integrations include Jira, Salesforce, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Teams, Slack, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, Asana, Microsoft Entra ID, Zapier, Calendly, and Facebook. REST API access and webhooks support custom connections. Teams with fewer than five agents, a requirement for a free tier, or a preference for simpler ticketing may find the entry structure less suitable; larger support operations can choose BoldDesk when its broader feature set and platform coverage justify the minimum.
