Blue Canvas is a cloud-based Salesforce DevOps and release management platform for developers, administrators, and enterprise teams. It tracks Salesforce metadata with Git, backs up changes, compares sandboxes and orgs, and coordinates releases across development, UAT, and production. Its workflow includes validation, peer review, approval gates, audit trails, rollback, and API-based extensions for complex multi-team deployments.
The platform’s strongest area is release control for Salesforce metadata. Blue Canvas Core - Enterprise includes Git-backed version control, continuous backup, org comparison, merge conflict and dependency resolution, protected branches, static analysis, and exportable audit trails for SOX and CAB reviews. Teams can also track environments, coordinate bulk releases, review change history, and manage deployment permissions. CPQ Deployer adds comparison across two orgs, cherry-pick deployment, automatic dependency suggestions, and support for CPQ and Advanced Approvals.
