Blink Home Monitor is the companion app for setting up and managing Blink home security cameras and video doorbells. It brings live view, motion notifications, two-way audio on compatible cameras, and saved-clip controls into an iOS or Android app. That makes it a fit for households already using Blink devices, especially those who want to check feeds and manage recordings from a phone rather than combine cameras from different brands.

Storage is the key choice. The app supports local clips through compatible Sync Module 2 USB storage or Sync Module XR MicroSD storage, depending on the camera and module. Cloud video storage and subscription features require a paid plan. Basic costs $3.99 per camera per month or $39.99 per camera per year and covers one eligible device. Plus costs $11.99 per month or $119.99 per year, with cloud video storage and subscription features for eligible devices, plus an extended warranty. Blink offers no-cost camera functions and a 30-day free trial; subscription prices vary by region.

Alexa is the notable ecosystem connection: compatible feeds can appear on Echo, Fire TV, and Fire Tablet devices, and compatible devices also support multi-client live view. The app lets people view, share, delete, and filter saved clips, while cloud clip storage is tied to a Blink Subscription Plan. Local recording offers an alternative for owners with the necessary Sync Module and storage, but the setup depends on compatible hardware. Choose Blink Home Monitor if Blink cameras are already part of your home and its storage options meet your needs. If you want a camera app spanning other brands, or cloud recording without a subscription, this product is a poor fit.
