BigSpy is an advertising intelligence and ad-library platform for marketers, media buyers, designers, app developers and ecommerce sellers researching competitor creatives. Its keyword, visual and feature search can surface ads across social, video, display and mobile networks, with filters for geography, language, industry and format. Cloud access and a Chrome extension support browser-based research; the extension also offers Swipe File boards. The product is most relevant to teams that need to find and track creative examples across networks, rather than a tool centered on spend or cross-media market benchmarking.
Search and analysis depth depend on the plan. The Free Plan includes Facebook access, 5 searches per day and 20 creative downloads per day. Starter costs $69 per month and adds Facebook, Instagram and AppLovin access, unlimited searches, ad copy and playable ads. Growth is $159 per month, extending access to X, TikTok, Pangle, Google Ads and YouTube alongside creative charts, page analysis and TikTok-specific analysis. Ultimate is $499 per month and adds Pinterest, Unity and Yahoo to the Growth network set, with those analysis features. A 3-day free trial is also listed. This progression gives budget-conscious researchers a free starting point, while broader network coverage and advertiser analysis require paid plans.
BigSpy’s strongest fit is creative discovery: users can search for visually similar image or video ads, describe visual content to search, track ads for trend and performance variation data, and browse creative charts and new-trending rankings. Downloadable image and video assets can support internal reference work. The trade-off is that the published capabilities emphasize creative signals and network access, not spend benchmarking across media. Teams comparing creative approaches across channels may find the tiered coverage useful; buyers whose priority is market-wide spend comparisons should look for a product built around that need.
