BetterWorld brings donations, events, auctions and other fundraising formats into one web-based platform. Nonprofits and mission-driven organizations can use it for donation forms, recurring giving, peer-to-peer campaigns, ticketing, crowdfunding and donor management, with reporting and campaign tracking alongside them. Its broad mix suits organizations that want several fundraising tools in one system, particularly those running events or auctions. It is less suited to teams that need a non-web platform or want to avoid transaction-related costs on a free subscription.
The plan structure gives organizations a choice between no subscription fee and paid arrangements. Free costs $0 and includes all fundraising tools, unlimited campaigns and teammates, donor management, integrations, and real-time reporting and insights; payment-processing charges still apply. Flex also has no subscription fee, but charges a 2.2%-5% platform fee and lets organizations control how fees appear to donors. Partner costs $1,550 per year, billed annually, and adds a 1.25% platform fee, automatic payouts and priority support. Keystone costs $5,950 per year, billed annually, with a 1% platform fee, concierge support for one event annually, CRM Integration Plus, an annual strategic review and 10,000 SMS credits. Organizations should compare platform fees and payment-processing costs, not just subscription prices.
Events and auctions are a notable strength: the feature set covers event pages, ticketing, tables and check-in, as well as online and live auctions. Other options include a-thons, paddle raises, raffles and impact giving. Donor records, attribution, automated receipts and reporting connect fundraising activity with donor tracking. Salesforce and Blackbaud integrations, plus credit card, ACH, PayPal, Venmo and DAFpay options, help accommodate different workflows. BetterWorld is a strong fit for organizations that want varied campaign formats and can work on the web; teams needing another platform environment or a simpler cost structure should consider alternatives.
