Our verdict on BeatVisualiser
BeatVisualiser is a browser-based music visualizer for independent artists, producers, DJs, and labels. It turns WAV, MP3, or FLAC audio into MP4 videos using audio-reactive waveforms, spectrum and analyzer visuals, spinning vinyl, oscilloscope effects, spectrograms, chladni patterns, and 3D styles. Output can use vertical 9:16 or landscape 16:9 formats, making it suitable for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and YouTube promotion. Custom artwork, palettes, video backgrounds, and automatic lyric synchronization add control for creators who want more than a basic waveform.
Pricing is straightforward at the plan level. The Free plan includes all visualizers and styles, one export up to 30 seconds, 1080p 60fps output, and no watermark. Pro costs $16.99 per month and adds unlimited video exports, full-length YouTube videos, Split View, video backgrounds, and an automatic lyric sync and editor. The Lifetime plan includes unlimited exports, all current features, and future features. Creators making short promotional clips can start with Free, while regular release campaigns are better suited to Pro or Lifetime.
Platform coverage is a practical strength: BeatVisualiser works on the web as well as Windows, macOS, and Linux. Rendering occurs locally in the browser, so audio and artwork are not uploaded to the vendor’s servers. It also fits established editing workflows through DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Premiere Pro, CapCut, and Final Cut. The main limitation is output depth: exports top out at 1080p, and true alpha transparency is unavailable. Creators needing transparent overlays should consider the vendor’s Screen blend mode approach; those needing higher resolution or alpha export should choose another tool.
