Bbot, now presented as Tableside Order & Pay by DoorDash, is a web-based ordering and payment platform for restaurants and other hospitality venues. Guests can browse menus, place orders, pay, tip, and open tabs from mobile devices without downloading an app. It fits restaurants that want to add mobile web ordering and tableside payments while keeping core restaurant operations connected to an existing POS. Takeout and delivery workflows also extend its use beyond the dining room.

Its strongest practical advantage is the combination of guest-facing ordering and payment flows with operational reporting. Open tabs and incremental ordering support ongoing table service, while online card payments run through Stripe. Staff and operators also get payment transfer, accounting, card-payment, and chargeback reports. Integrations with Toast, Aloha, Square, Revel, Deliverect, Upserve, Micros, and Stripe give it a broad ecosystem fit for restaurants already using one of those systems. The product is particularly relevant where POS connectivity matters as much as the guest ordering experience.

Bbot is more focused than a complete restaurant payment-processing suite. Its published scope centers on mobile web ordering, tableside payments, and related reporting rather than covering every payment operation in one system. Pricing is handled through a custom quote, so restaurants should evaluate the contract structure alongside subscription, implementation, hardware, and transaction-related fees. Choose Bbot when mobile ordering, tableside payment, tipping, and POS integration are the priority. Consider an alternative if you need a broader all-in-one payment platform or a different deployment model than web-based guest ordering.
