Baserow review
A flexible relational database builder for teams creating internal tools and portals.

Baserow is an open-source no-code platform for creating relational databases, organizing structured records, and building applications without programming. It suits teams that need internal tools, websites, portals, or user-facing interfaces around connected data. Relational fields support one-to-one and many-to-many relationships, while grid, gallery, form, kanban, calendar, timeline, and survey views provide different ways to work with records. Cloud-hosted and self-hosted deployments are available, with access through the web and API.
The plan structure covers both lightweight projects and larger workspaces. Free includes 3,000 rows and 2GB of storage per workspace, 2,000 automation credits, and Grid, Form, and Gallery views. Premium costs $10 per user per month when billed annually and adds 50,000 rows, 20GB of storage, all views, and AI features. Advanced costs $18 per user per month when billed annually and adds 250,000 rows, 500,000 automation credits, role-based permissions, and audit logs. Enterprise supports 1,000,000 rows per workspace, unlimited external app users, implementation support, and payment by invoice, with pricing on request.
Baserow’s strongest fit is for teams that want more than a table: workflow automation can use scheduled, table-change, and webhook triggers, while the application builder can create internal tools and portals. REST API access includes token authentication and CRUD operations, and integrations include Jira, GitLab, GitHub, HubSpot, Salesforce, PostgreSQL, Zapier, Make, and n8n. Import and export support covers CSV, Excel, XML, and JSON. Choose Baserow when relational modeling, deployment flexibility, and application building matter together. Teams needing only a simple spreadsheet-style database may not need its broader feature set.
