Barelae review
A focused web app for spray-tan records, formulas, appointments and education.

Barelae, also presented as Your Spray Tan Companion, is a web app for professional spray-tan artists. It organizes client skin information, preferences, history and notes alongside formulas, appointments, intake links, secure photo uploads, before-and-after photos, inventory and education resources. The product is aimed at independent and small operators who need a focused record-keeping and client-management workspace rather than a broad salon platform.
Its freemium structure gives users a Free account with spray tan client records, progress notes, generic communication templates and a basic app experience. A separately advertised 14-day free trial complements that no-cost account. Monthly PRO adds appointment management, client intake and secure photo-upload links, before-and-after tracking, assessments, Formula Cards, inventory tracking and the Ask Bronzie AI assistant. Annual PRO includes those capabilities plus client and appointment management, the Education Vault, quizzes and specialized Ask Bronzie modes such as Spray Tan 911, Formula Coach and Client Script Helper.
Barelae’s strongest fit is a solo artist who wants spray-tan-specific workflows, formula history and education tools in one web service. Appointment management connects to client records, while photo and intake links support a documented client journey. The narrow focus is also the main boundary: it is positioned for spray-tan professionals rather than UV tanning salons, and its documented scope does not center on POS, memberships or integrations. Businesses needing a broader salon operating system or a wider platform ecosystem should compare alternatives before choosing it.
