Bar Cop is web-based inventory and back-office management software for independent bars and restaurants. It sits alongside an existing point-of-sale system rather than replacing it, bringing inventory counts, deliveries, vendor pricing, labor, sales, cash, menu profitability, events, and bookkeeping into one product. Its feature set is aimed at operators who want financial and operational oversight across a bar or restaurant location, including pour cost, food cost, labor percentage, prime cost, menu engineering, break-even analysis, and cash forecasting.
The published plans show two paid options, with all features included in both. Monthly costs $149 per month per bar and includes whole-team access, no per-seat fee, and no contract. Annual billing costs $1,488 per year per bar and includes the same features and team access, with the displayed monthly equivalent of $124 per bar. The annual option is suited to operators comfortable with yearly billing, while the monthly plan provides a shorter commitment. Separate subscriptions apply to each location, so the pricing structure scales by bar rather than pooling multiple locations into one account.
Bar Cop connects with Toast, Square, Lightspeed, Aloha, and Clover, as well as any POS that exports CSV or Excel reports. That file-based approach supports broad POS compatibility but adds an import step to the workflow. For a single bar or restaurant needing inventory, purchasing, labor, financial reporting, events, and forecasting in one back-office system, the breadth is a strong fit. Operators seeking direct POS data connections or consolidated multi-location reporting should choose a different option.
