Our verdict on Awardmatic
Awardmatic is awards-management software for organizations that collect applications, review submissions, score candidates, manage eligibility, and finalize recipients. Its scholarship workflow supports saved drafts, document uploads, administrative eligibility screening, reviewer assignments, rubrics, multi-round shortlists, moderation, role-limited access, notifications, and recipient exports. It fits foundations, schools, associations, corporations, and other programs that need a structured review record rather than an informal email-and-spreadsheet process.
The Program plan costs $1,495 per year and includes a branded program site, entry intake, judging workspaces, panels, scorecards, communications, results, winner closeout, roles for organizers, judges, and entrants, and entry-fee checkout when needed. It also covers the core scholarship functions: applications, eligibility screening, reviewer rubrics, moderation, shortlist workflows, permissions, exports, and audit trails. The Organization plan includes everything in Program, then adds multiple programs with shared admin control, custom domains, deeper branding, multi-round judging, advanced fairness controls, optional public voting, ceremony-ready exports, and onboarding support. Its final quote varies with entries, judging depth, and add-ons.
Awardmatic runs on the web and lists Stripe as its integration, making it a focused fit for programs that can work within a browser and need payment collection when required. Custom fields, forms, workflows, role-based access, limited visibility for sensitive fields, and variance visibility support more controlled administration. Choose Awardmatic when transparent annual pricing and documented review workflows matter more than broad platform coverage. Programs needing native desktop or mobile experiences, or a wider integration ecosystem than Stripe, should consider an alternative.
