Repair-shop tools span work orders, customer approvals, inspections and technician dispatch.

AutoSync Shop Manager is cloud-based software for independent auto repair shops, with features for repair work, customer communication and payment. It suits small shops that want to coordinate technicians in the field as well as manage work at the shop: staff can assign and track repair orders, schedule appointments, request approval for estimates and conduct photo-based vehicle inspections with condition scoring. Mobile dispatch adds real-time GPS tracking and customer-facing tracking links, supporting roadside and other off-site jobs.
The published monthly plans are priced per shop. Starter costs $49 per month and includes work orders, quotes and estimates, customer CRM, manual payments, appointments and a parts markup matrix. Enterprise costs $199 per month, includes Starter features, and adds reports and multi-location operations. There is no free plan. Multi-location operators should compare Enterprise with their needs; single-location shops may find Starter sufficient if they do not need its added reporting and multi-location capabilities. The product also offers text-to-pay links, two-way messaging and tiered markup rules, which extend its workflow beyond repair-order tracking.
Its ecosystem includes connections for parts ordering, accounting and communications, with named integrations such as Nexpart, CARFAX Connect, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Dynamics, SignalWire, SendGrid and WorldPac. The product is available on web, iOS, Android and through an API. Its technician interface is described as phone-first, and customers can follow tracking links without installing an app; shops seeking a verified dedicated native mobile app should assess that distinction before choosing. AutoSync is a fit for small and mid-market operators prioritizing dispatch, tracking and shop workflows, but shops that need a free option or do not need these capabilities should compare simpler alternatives.
